St Benedict’s Day Nursery receive financial donation from SVGTCCU
THE ST.VINCENT ANDTHE GRENADINES Teachers Co-operative Credit Union Ltd. (SVGTCCU Ltd.) said it has reaffirmed its dedication to community development with a donation of $3,500 to the St. Benedict’s Day Nursery and Children’s Home.
The contribution, handed over on August, 29, 2025, was made possible through proceeds from the Credit Union’s annual Glow Run—an eagerly awaited event that brings together members, families, and supporters in an atmosphere of fun, fitness, and purpose, the credit union said in a release.
It said each year, the Glow Run highlights the credit union’s commitment to making a meaningful difference while fostering unity among participants.
At SVGTCCU Ltd., we hold firmly to the principle of “People Helping People,” the financial institution said. It added that the contribution to St. Benedict’s Day Nursery is a reflection of that principle in action, “as we continue to stand in solidarity with organisations that provide essential care and support to our nation’s children”.
The SVGTCCU also stated that its mission extends beyond offering reliable financial services.
“We are committed to uplifting communities, building partnerships, and driving initiatives that positively impact lives across St.Vincent and the Grenadines.
“This donation represents more than financial assistance—it is a symbol of our care, compassion, and promise to always put people first”.
