Brighton Methodist benefits from Holiday Inn’s “Giving for Good Initiative”
THE BRIGHTON METHODIST SCHOOL was the recipient on Monday, September, 8, 2025, of a quantity of supplies through the ‘Giving for Good’ initiative, led by Holiday Inn Express and Suites in partnership with local businesses.
During the school’s morning assembly, the hotel and its partners presented the supplies which included exercise books, pencils, rulers, shoes, a projector, and entry way mats. The initiative, supported by Vincy Fresh, Diamond Terrace, Diamond Grocery, Myah’s Hotel, Pitmaster, National Properties, and Browne’s Hardware Supplies- all based in the Diamond area, aims to inspire students and strengthen community ties, a Holiday Inn release states.
Holiday Inn Express representatives also highlighted that ‘Giving for Good’ goes beyond donations. Plans include mentorship programmes, exposure to the tourism industry, field trips, and celebrating student achievements, beginning with World Tourism Day on September, 27, 2025. The programme is guided by three principles: building community, inspiring hope, and making a lasting impact in the lives of students and the wider Diamond area.
