Seniors urged to go digital safely
The National Public Library, Archives and Documentation Services (NPLADS) in collaboration with the National Center of Technological Innovation (NCTI), is urging senior citizens to join their Digital Skills Programme. In a notice, NPLADS said the two weeks of information, learning and fun is designed especially for seniors.
The programme opens on September 15, 2025 at the National Center of Technological Innovation, Kingstown and will be held on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 9:00 a.m to 11:00 a.m.
The programme will expose participants to such areas as:
– Introduction to computers
– Navigating the Internet safely
– Managing email communication
– Introduction to social media; and
– Accessing online Banking Services
NPLADS is urging senior citizens to embrace the opportunity to learn new skills, stay connected, and embrace the digital age. Persons may call for more information, or to register at telephone number: 457-2022.
