SVG confirms 24 new Covid-19 cases, nine recoveries
St Vincent and the Grenadines on Sunday registered 24 new COVID-19 cases, of which three are from PCR samples and 21 from rapid antigen samples collected between February 8 and 13, 2021, a release from the National Emergency Management Organization (NEMO) said.
Nine persons were cleared bringing the number of total recoveries to 599. Eight hundred and forty-eight cases remain active and six persons with COVID-19 have died. One thousand, four hundred and fifty three cases of COVID-19 have been reported in St Vincent and the Grenadines since March 2020.
“The public is reminded to wear a facial covering, physically distance, sanitize hands and vaccinate to reduce the spread of COVID-19 in St. Vincent and the Grenadines,” the release from NEMO said.
