Stop taking credit for other people’s work
EDITOR: The Parliamentary representative for East Kingstown has made an unfounded claim regarding his discussions with the media about the ongoing work on the Sion Hill hard court.
It’s important to clarify that this assertion is entirely inaccurate. The contractor responsible for this project can easily confirm that the work was set to commence between August and September. This alone illustrates that Mr. Bramble lacks a fundamental understanding of how government projects operate. Government projects require a series of critical steps that must be adhered to. If Mr. Bramble truly grasped these processes, he would appreciate the collaborative and complex nature of implementing such initiatives. Essential steps include obtaining estimates, hiring contractors, compiling budgets, securing funding, and procuring necessary materials.
While the timing of these actions may vary, it’s essential to recognize that the success of these projects cannot be attributed to him.
The Sion community is well aware that Luke Browne and his team have been tirelessly investing their own resources into the hard court work for many years. The absence of media engagement from Mr. Browne does not lessen the relentless efforts being made behind the scenes.
This project stands as a testament to the unwavering commitment and hard work of this Labour government concerning citizens.
