Is the Fair Hall Government School’s Inclusive Programme a big lie?

Is the Fair Hall Government School’s Inclusive Programme a big lie?

EDITOR: There is an interview on the API published on the 27th of September 2025. They are portraying the Fair Hall School as an inclusive school but there is no program going on at that school. The only good thing is that children with special needs can go there but there is no program there for the special students. I must applaud the teachers at the school because I know that they really love the special children and they are doing their best to work with them. They are really hard workers and very loving and caring. I have seen how they treat those children. They should really get a raise for their hard work. I know all of the facts because I have a child going at that school.

My biggest question is “What are the interviewed Special Needs Teachers doing to help the special children?

Ask Mrs. Ince these questions as the special teacher and coordinator of the program there. Ask her the questions of which child [has]she worked with since the school term began? Ask her which teacher [has] she assisted since the school term have begun?

Ask her how many children [has] she brought to that special room? Ask her for her schedule for the week with the special needs children. Ask her to show you the work that was done with the special children so far for the school term. When I asked my child’s class teacher about the connection with those teachers being interviewed, they said that there is no connection because she don’t come in the classroom, nor can they go down to that same room they are being interviewed in.

When I ask other teachers at the school, they said the same thing.

From my investigation, Mrs. Ince and Ms. Burke does the least at the school, so why are they being praised for the hard work the other teachers are putting in. How can Mrs. Ince be the lead teacher on a special needs project and when the teachers ask her for help she basically tells them that she cannot help them. Ask her if those children can come to her space ‘the special needs room’ if the camera wasn’t there. If you do not believe me, then question the teachers there.

The principal is to be blamed also.

How can you allow this to happen?

How can you accept this for your teachers like that? Who should be getting the praise?

Is there favouritism going on at that school? Because I cannot understand. The teachers are saying that money was given to the school to buy resources for months now and they haven’t seen any resource as yet. Is the Fair Hall School an inclusive school or is it just for the cameras. Why am I sending my child there if there is no program there? What is the ministry doing? How can you not know what is going on out there? How can you accept this knowing that all is not well? The teachers are crying for help and the principal nor the ministry doesn’t care. You may have workshops for them, yes, but where is the physical and mental help for them? I don’t think the teachers will come out and speak about what is going on, but after watching this video, I couldn’t sit down and just let this slide. This [has] been going on too long and the Ministry of Education needs to step in.

Justice for the hard working teachers at the Fair Hall Government School, and those that are not doing your job, PLEASE DO BETTER.
