Congratulations Girls’ High School Steel Orchestra! !

EDITOR: Warm, very warm congratulations to the Girls’ High School (GHS) Steel Orchestra for placing first in the schools’ division of The Junior Panorama Competition for THE FIFTH CONSECUTIVE YEAR!!!

GHS earned this position as a result of the discipline and dedication of the girls, the ever-faithful Johnny ‘J.P’ Pompey and the verdant ‘Pest ‘ Llewellyn. This victory, like every other GHS victory in any field, comes in the face of institutionalised resentment towards the 107-year-old school.

The girls’ performance was confident, entertaining and melodic…, an absolute joy to hear and witness. Continue to shine GHS…’Where Tradition meets Tomorrow’.
