Did someone threaten to harm you? Worse yet, did he or she threaten to kill you? Whether you are threatened with harm or death, report the matter to the police right away. Often, persons do not take threats seriously and only after being hurt or killed, you hear stories that the person was threatened before by this or that person(s). Then, it might be too late for the police to act on that threat. If threats are promptly reported to the police, they may be able to warn the persons giving the threats. Hence, such persons may not carry out their threats out of fear of imprisonment, since they will be the main suspects if they harm or kill persons themselves or do it through someone else. Thus, the persons being threatened may not be harmed or killed. So, I say again to everyone: Report any threat you receive to the police right away. Take threats very seriously. It can mean your life! Proverbs 22:3.
