A kind act!
On Tuesday, June 14, 2016, I lost my purse in Kingstown and it was very painful for me. In it were money, debit, identification and credit cards. Immediately, I began retracing my paths, but the day ended and I did not find it.{{more}}
The next day, after a prayerful night, I went back into Kingstown, going over the same paths as the day before. As fate would have it, three ladies who were present at a particular business place where I made a purchase realized that I had left my purse and secured it for me.
I was so grateful that I immediately offered them a reward â a portion of the money that was in the purse. They all declined acceptance. Their reason was the same; if they were in my place they would have wanted me to do the same for them.
We keep hearing the bad news about social ills, especially those coming out of the law courts and it appears that people are no longer kindhearted and can be trusted. However, this experience has proven otherwise to me â all is not lost.
I owe a debt of gratitude to Ms Janeaita Lavia, Ms Denise Enville and Ms Arlene John for their kindheartedness.
God bless you, ladies.
