Good role models should be highly commended

Editor: Andrew Cummings’ singing the praises of Math teacher Gillis “Git” Francis in the newspapers not too long ago brought home to us that good should, indeed, be noticed and lauded while people can appreciate and know how much they are loved and treasured.

Now, I would like to sing the praises of Andrew Cummings, both personally and professionally.{{more}} In an era when there is so much discussion about the marginalization of the male species, it is such a joy to be able to highly commend males who can be looked up to for their accomplishments, dignity and integrity. These two gentlemen are contemporaries of my younger brothers Vincent and Asquith Phills. In their formative years, theirs was an era that did not lack examples of male achievements, decency and respect.

Andrew and his family are fine examples and role models, both personally and professionally. I thank them for the outstanding service offered by Cardinal Law Firm and their commitment to community involvement.

May they continue to prosper.
