An enquiring mind on the Registrar matter

Editor: The call for the removal of the Attorney General from her post by “Concerned Citizens of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines at Home and Abroad” includes, as one of her so-called failings, “acting outside the scope of her duties when she asked the Registrar to resign.”{{more}}

Opposition Leader Arnhim Eustace is on record as saying he fired one fraudulent civil servant and instituted criminal proceedings against him while firing another fraudulent civil servant, but allowing him to pay back the stolen money because that civil servant’s father was a long-serving employee of the state.

While the matter with the Registrar is still under investigation and it is too early to draw parallels, are the “Concerned Citizens of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines at Home and Abroad” implying that Mr Eustace, while a senior employee of the state, did not follow procedural requirements and as such should not be considered for a leadership role in the governance of this fair country?
