Young graduates being asked to have five years’ job experience?

Editor: Is it just me or are there other young persons who have graduated, who are facing this same problem? The problem is the level of experience that some of these companies require.{{more}}
When one is reading the newspaper and sees a job opportunity, one becomes hopeful, but that hope is soon gone, when they see things like “must have five years experience in a similar positionâ or that they must have a degree. This is very upsetting to the young people, because if they are never employed in the first place, how will they acquire five yearsâ experience and how can they save to go to university to get the required degree?
So you see, well educated students have to settle for jobs below their education level, while the older persons who have already succeeded in life take the jobs. I am not asking for them to give their jobs to just anyone, because admittedly some of the youths are a little irresponsible and on the job training is of time and money; but please have a little consideration; our parents are not going to take care of us forever.
