The President, Clari Gilbert, welcomed Dame Monica Dacon, who graced us with her presence and congratulated the members in her remarks.

The president, in her address, stated that the organization was formed with two stated goals: to assist with the health care needs of retired nurses, and also the community at large.

The members of the Association were identified by their beautiful “Sunday hats,” as they welcomed their guests.

The Mistress of Ceremonies, Sylvia Gould, entertained the crowd with light-hearted humour and poetry, along with the talented Arabesque Dancers and the beautiful soloist Deanna Hadaway-Carbon. A Chinese auction was conducted by Zeitha Hadaway.

The SVGRNA thanks those who supported the “tea” and looks forward to the public’s support as we continue our mission.
