The new gay Bible and its perversions

Thurs Mar 28, 2013

Editor: In a previous letter captioned “Christianity, the homosexual’s worst nightmare”, published in your newspaper two weeks ago, I detailed the anti-Christian agenda of the homosexual movement, as told in their own very words. I will here point out a few examples of how they are seeking to destroy the Holy Scriptures by perverting the verses which condemn their behaviour as abominable.{{more}}

In a recently produced gay version of the Bible, which they called the Queen James Bible (http://queenjamesbible.com/gay-bible/), homosexual translators have softened God’s hatred for sodomy and have twisted plain scriptures to suit the sinful act of homosexuality. They have changed eight scriptures, including Leviticus 18:22. This verse was changed from “Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is an abomination” to “Thou shalt not lie with mankind as with womankind in the temple of Molech: it is an abomination.” The attempt in this rainbow coloured book is to make homosexuality an abomination only when it is practised in a pagan temple. The original scripture, however, shows that homosexuality is an absolute abomination regardless of where it is practised.

Where the Bible pronounced the death penalty for the sin of sodomy in Leviticus 20:13, the “gay bible” made the death penalty applicable to homosexuality only when committed in the temple of Molech. This makes homosexuality okay if done outside this temple.

They also added to the plain straight scriptures to dilute the sin of Sodom and Gomorrah. They, inspired by the devil, changed Genesis 19: 5 from “ Bring them out unto us, that we may know them” to “ Bring them out unto us, that we may rape and humiliate them” replacing the words “know them” with “rape and humiliate them”. There is no “rape and humiliate” in the original Hebrew text. This changes the meaning of the text to make the sin of Sodom appear to be raping in order to humiliate, when humiliation was not mentioned in these scriptures. Men having sex with men now seem okay, as long as it is not “rape and humiliate”. All these changes they make to justify the sin of homosexuality.

For Romans 1: 26, 27 they made sodomy wrong only when it is done as a ritual in worship of idols. They removed from verse 26 the portion that refers to sodomy as “vile affections” and recreated the scripture to the issue “ritual lust”. In other words, they removed the strong condemnation of homosexuality and replaced it with a condemnation of lust that is practiced when worshiping idols. They also perverted verse 27, supplying the word “pagan” and saying “God gave the idolaters up unto vile affections”. These words were supplied and are not there in the original Greek. They were supplied to justify the abomination of homosexuality. Imagine, a homosexual can now claim to be a follower of Jesus (not a pagan) and practise Sodomy and it will not be sin, according to this deranged perversion.

In I Corinthians 6:9, they replaced God’s condemnation of the “effeminate” with the words “morally weak”. Morally weak can be applied to anyone, but “effeminate” is specifically referring to men behaving as women. The transgender and transvestite are here condemned, but they have removed this condemnation, so that they can freely practise this sin and not read the Bible without discomfort. They also changed “abusers of themselves with mankind” to “promiscuous”. The original meaning of that phrase in the King James Version is “male bed partners” (according to the Greek New Testament 4th Ed).

Homosexuality remains a sin in the Holy Scriptures, even when men may seek to change that fact by producing their own “Bible”. Those who add or subtract from God’s Holy Scriptures, as these homosexuals did in their blasphemy, will suffer in the plagues when God destroys the wicked (Revelations 22:18, 19; Deut 4:2).
