Norma Keizer touched many lives

It is with great sadness that I write this message. I join with so many others who knew Mrs. Keizer in offering our deepest sympathy on her passing. I will always remember her as a Champion for education and for young girls everywhere. Her strength and integrity have been a source of inspiration and admiration to me and to all those from the GHS family who were privileged to know her, no matter where they are in the world today.{{more}}

I remember her warm and reassuring smile when she pinned the Head Girl badge on me almost 28 years ago, as if to say, “don’t worry, you’ll do great.” I was truly honoured to know her and to be part of her family of “girls.” She touched so may lives and we are all better people for having known her.

We shall miss you Mrs. Keizer.

May she rest in peace.
