Government needs to use technology more effectively

Editor: I write this open letter to the Accountant General in response to the Public Notice Life Certificate published in the print media February 8, 2013.{{more}}
Wouldnât it be more practical to upload the form to the Government website than request pensioners residing abroad to travel to the SVG missions? For verification, the form should be notarized before submission to the Office of the Accountant General.

Similarly, couldnât the Inland Revenue Department post the property valuation list to the Government website for the convenience of those not able to travel to a police station to peruse the list?
Technology is to be used for our benefit and convenience and to enhance productivity, efficiency and effectiveness of various institutions.
