Oh, what a Shame, Obama!

Editor: November this year, elections will be held in the USA to select a President. I know that most West Indians and blacks would like to see the return of Barack Obama as President. However, if I were an American and were to vote, I definitely would not vote for President Obama.{{more}}

He can be forgiven for the poor growth in the economy and for other areas, such as not creating enough jobs. The high rate of unemployment that exists in USA would definitely go against him, yet if I were an American, I would still support him, because he has been making the effort and some of the problems now faced in USA are not of his making, but rather that of the President before him, George Bush.

The health care and other programmes geared towards helping the poorer ones, for that he deserves a second term. Amidst of all that mentioned, I would not support him as President for a second time, simply because he intends to give legal status to gays and make abortion legal. We know that this is so in New York. However, to make it a promise with the intention to make it legal in all America is something that should not be embraced and for that PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA deserves to lose.

Having said all of that, we know that it is God who sets up Kings and brings down Kings. So, should he be given a second

term, it would mean that God in his wisdom has allowed him to return to power and I am certain God has a purpose for that. It will thus strengthen the point that we are in the days of Noah and so we would soon experience the wrath of God upon that nation.

Meanwhile, we have heard that in Trinidad and Tobago, there are talks about making homosexuality and abortion legal. What a shame! We are indeed living in the last days. Indeed I would not support any party that makes abortion and homosexuality legal so that they can be practice. We know that abortion is murder and to make it legal is to give license to kill, what a shame!

Let us continue to pray for our blessed nation and live honestly for God. Thank you.
