Having concerns is NOT waging a war, Mr. Thompson!

13.MAY.11

Editor: Persons who allow pride and prejudice to bar their minds from considering and receiving truth will remain unenlightened and unable to help others.{{more}} It is very sad that the genuine vaccine-related concern of the Thusians is seen by Jerrol Thompson as ‘the war against immunization’. Mr. Thompson, raising people’s awareness about an important health issue, is not equivalent to a ‘war’! In my previous articles, I showed that the risk of vaccines containing toxic substances is not only a concern of the Thusians, but other religious organizations, medical experts, worldwide institutions like the National Vaccine information Centre(NVIC) and the American Association for Health Freedom etc.

Although I warned that the discussion should not be politicised, Dr. Thompson did not heed the warning. Moreover, he used untruths as one of his main weapons in the debate. Thank God not all of us read and swallow without careful research and meaningful scrutiny. Dr. Sherri Tenpenny’s research has been discredited by Mr. Thompson without valid reason. Tenpenny is a certified medical doctor who was once the Director of Emergency Department in Ohio. Tenpenny is now the president of the Association of Health, with thousands of hours of vaccination research under her belt. Thompson untruthfully stated that Dr.Tenpenny’s two books “are sold exclusively on the anti-government Alex Jones Info Wars web site.” To understand why Thompson’s words cannot be trusted, one only has to check Amazon.com for “sayingNoToVaccines” @$35.95 and “Vaccines: what the CDC documents and science reveal” @$24.95 by Dr. Sherri Tenpenny. Misrepresentations, lies and politicking should have no place in the argument. Can you disprove the facts that Tenpenny and other well-searched doctors like Dr. Russell Blaylock have presented?

Shamefully, the information that Thompson presented doesn’t effectively address our concerns. Thompson admitted that vaccines may trigger serious reactions. He stated that eggs are involved in the manufacturing process and ‘people with allergies to eggs can’t take flu vaccines…”. How about the toxic substances: Aluminium, and mercury that are placed in vaccines like the Hepatitis B and MMR vaccines? What are the short and long term effects of injecting chemicals like formaldehyde, mercury and aluminium and other poisonous compounds directly into the human blood stream? Do you know that Aluminium and mercury can cause brain and tissue damage?

In showing the worldwide and understandable interest in vaccine manufacture and usage, Janine Roberts, Medical writer and researcher had this to say.

“In 1998 and 1999 scientists representing the World Health Organization (WHO) met with the senior vaccine regulatory scientists of the USA and UK at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in Washington D.C. to discuss the safety of the manufacturing methods employed to produce vaccines. No journalists were present, but official transcripts were kept. What they record is that all the many experts that spoke expressed grave concern over the safety of the manufacturing process currently employed to make the licensed vaccines, such as MMR, flu, yellow fever, and polio. It was reported by leading experts that the vaccines could not be purified, were “primitive,” made on “crude materials,” and the manufacturers could not meet lowered government standards. WHO specialists reported the widespread and continuing presence in the MMR vaccine of chicken leukosis virus. Others spoke about the presence of foamy virus, many other viruses, toxins, foreign proteins, enzymes and possibly prions and oncogenes. It was reported that the polio vaccine had sometimes contained more monkey viruses than polioviruses. Grave concerns were expressed about the level of foreign residual DNA and RNA contaminating the vaccines. It was feared that this could be causing cancers and autoimmune diseases. It seemed possible to this writer that, given its mutagenic properties, this DNA contamination might relate to the incidence of autism and other serious disorders occurring in the vulnerable after vaccination. Experimental evidence also suggests that there could be a link of autism to environmental toxins such as acrylamide.”

Extracted from Chapter 7 of her book entitled “Fear of the Invisible”, Impact Investigative Media Productions, 2008; ISBN 978-0-9559177-2-1.

Unfortunately, Dr. Thomspon did not answer the piercing questions in my last article “Give us the facts about the vaccines”. He has so far shown inability to respond truthfully and intelligently. Some of my questions included, “Can’t we get vaccines without toxic contents? Shouldn’t we be informed of the risks of the vaccines? Are there studies to show that vaccinated children are healthier and less susceptible to diseases than non-vaccinated children? Is there proper monitoring of children’s reaction to vaccines?

Like many propagandists, Thompson was glad to point to the media- hooked controversy with Mr. Wakefield, without saying exactly what Wakefield’ research showed and without disproving the findings of the same. Dr. Thompson said that “ Wakefield results have never been replicated by any other researchers”. All one has to do is to Google ‘Gastrointestinal disease in autism: REPLICATION and SUPPORTED STUDIES’ to understand Thompson’s wilful lack of research and analytical skills. Interestingly, though, I have not even

pointed to Wakefield as a source. One must ask, therefore, how does all that Thompson wrote about Mr. Wakefield make our concerns about health-hazardous vaccines invalid?

Dr. Thompson must stop his deceit and misrepresentation of the Thusians. We are not warring against immunization. Over one year, the Thusia Seventh Day Adventist Church on our program Escape for thy life aired on WEFM on Sundays did a series on the H1N1 virus and vaccine. Recently, in an effort to demonise Anesia Baptiste and the Thusians and to try to satisfy his political vanities, Sehon Marshall, on his Starfm morning program, unskilfully brought some clippings without showing context of the presenter’s commentaries on the H1N1 virus and vaccine. Since then, persons like Jerrol Thompson have wrongfully politicised our position on vaccines. We are, however, using the opportunity to present truths and concerns about vaccines. We do not have any mega pharmaceutical interests or political interests to protect. We just call upon our people to become aware. Show interest in YOUR health by knowing exactly what is injected into your body and make a wise choice based on knowledge and understanding by God’s grace. And…Be not fooled! Having genuine concerns about health issues like vaccination is not equalled to waging a war.
