We the Police
Is we who does patrol all around the town
Making sure that nothing goes wrong.
Is the beat men ah mean just in case you don’t know,
Man them people does work hard for so.
Patrolling the streets both day and night,
While you in your warm bed hugh up tight! Tight! Tight!{{more}}
We does move from chateau to fancy,
Up and down all over town.
Looking for them drugs and dealers around,
Some people does think we mad.
Ah talking bout them fellas from the drug squad.
Their task is not easy we must agree,
But they trying their best to eradicate
The drugs in we country…..
We traffic men and women, big and small,
Man them people, they very strong
Them go stand in the middle road,
And hold up a line ah vehicle with one hand.
Working day and night in the sun and rain
From sunday to saturday without any complain…
Some people hate we for so.
What is the reason, ah jus’ don’t know.
When someone ah beat up one ah we.
Dem go stand aside and laugh out kee! Kee! Kee!
But as soon as we try to put back licks on he,
All ah dem ah shout out police brutality….
Is we who does be out front
When something happen in we country.
Trying we best to keep tight security.
This ain’t no joke what ah saying is true.
Ah talking bout them men from ssu.
Armed with m 16 an dem back pack
Ready for anyone who wants to attack..
No matter what people say bout we yo see,
They jus’ can’t do without we.
For if there were no police in s.v.g.
Think of how life in this country would be.
A man would walk in yo place and tek up anything he see.
And will turn round and beat you if you try to stop he.
So in order for this country to maintain its peace,
You must rely on we the police…..
