God wants to make his presence felt amongst us

Editor: The innocent killings in Jamaica, the senseless, innocent killing of 33 persons at the Virginia University four years ago, and the many who have lost their lives in this country either by accident, sudden sickness or senseless killings have raised the question “Where is God?”{{more}}

In times like these, as humans we many times blame God and deny his care and love for us. This we know is not so. He loves us and cares for us. He understands our human side and would many times forgive us even when we blame him and lose our faith in him.

It is for us to wake up and realise that good can come from all these situations if as a people we individually take warning and realise the importance of God in our lives by surrendering our lives to him.

For all of these tragedies, God wants to make his presence felt amongst us. Surely God is right there when we think it is not so.

He assures us of his presence when we read the words of the Bible in Matthew 28: 20 which says that “Lo, I am with you always even unto the end of ages.” So be assured that he is always there and never leaves and forsake us.
