Please stop making a mockery of Christianity
12.JUNE.09
Editor: The mockery we are making of Christianity is a shame. When we listen to the advertisement on radio where a carnival activity is advertised using the scenario of a preacher and the church, it is a mockery of Christianity. {{more}}
Imagine, it is talking about ladies in a sexual way and promoting vulgar things and they are presenting the advertisement as though someone were preaching and they are boldfaced enough to say âPraise the Lordâ. They are even using a gospel song in the advertisement. What a shame! This is downright sickening to say the least.
These men have no regard for the Lord and His name.
We have also reggae singers who are not Christians using Gospel songs and promoting them just to make money. What a shame! Come on, these men are just singing these songs just for money and using the gospel songs.
Truly, we are inviting the judgment of God upon our lives. It is a shame that we have come to this low condition in our lives and in the nation as a whole. It is time to wake up and stop making a mockery of God and his Church. The Lord will deal with us if we fail to listen. But if we repent He will abundantly pardon us and forgive us.
Let us turn our hearts back to God and honour and respect him, for He is not a man like us. He must be held in high esteem. Leave God out of this slack advertisement. I wonder if these stations that run this advertisement have no respect for God and the Church to allow this advertisement to be aired on their stations just for money.
Let us wake up. The Lord will judge us. Be careful.
Thank you.
