Hang them high
Editor: I am once again writing to you. This time I am agreeing with what Mr. Parnel Campbell said.
Hang them by a rope until they are dead. I am agreeing because of the many killings going on in my country. I am presently residing in Canada, and often times search the Net for news about my country, but the news always hurts me to read.{{more}}
Recently, a young man lost his life while on his way home, shot in the back of his head. The police seem not to be equipped with methods to know who killed and how to find them, and that seems useless to the public or to those who seek justice for their loved ones.
Let us see if the cops would find that young boyâs killer(s). Itâs sad, so sad. What is St. Vincent coming to? That small country which we were thought is a blessed land! I say hang them and hang them high. Thatâs why they are killing because they know and see that hanging is now a thing of the past. So they have made up their minds to kill and go to jail. They, however, fail to realize or just donât give a darn, that the ones they kill will be gone, canât come back, and their families are left with memories and pain for the child that they brought into this world.
I would very much want the hanging to come in this present life. If I had Mr. Campbellâs email address or number I would call him or email him and say I agree with what he said. Hang them. A price must be paid. Mankind in St. Vincent have become like beasts for those who kill. I thank you.
