Thank you!

Dear Prime Minister,

We the Vincentian students and members of the University of Guyana extend our warmest greetings to you and join in wishing you another successful election. Our prayers are continually with you and the members of your team as well as those from the opposing teams. We affirm our allegiance to the ideals of good electioneering.{{more}} Unfortunately we are unable to be at home on elections day because we are engaged in examinations. Our prayers are with the people of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines at this time and we pray for violence-free campaigning and also for free and fair elections.

We love and appreciate all you have done for our country. We are happy that you have embarked on advancing the education system in SVG. It is because of this we too are motivated and committed to serve our people. We have caught your vision of a more educated society in this age of globilisation.

The University of Guyana in collaboration with the University of the West Indies since 1975 has offered the UG/UWI LLB programme . Marcelle Myers and Doris Charles are arguably the first Vincentians to enroll in this programme. One other student, Phillip Jacobs is pursuing a major in Sociology. Thank you for a good term in office. All the best in campaign 2005 and victory in the next elections. LABOUR NOW ! LABOUR FOREVER!
