Police talk road caution and means to tackle vulgar language in public service vehicles
SUPERINTENDENT of Police and Head of the Traffic Department in the Royal St Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force (RSVGPF), Parnel Browne, is urging motorists in St Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG), to exercise increased caution as road rehabilitation work continue across the state. Browne made the appeal while speaking on BOOM SVG on Wednesday, February 25, 2026. He advised drivers to be vigilant, particularly in and around Kingstown, where active repairs are being done by the Roads, Buildings and General Services Authority (BRAGSA).
“There are ongoing repairs on our roads in and around Kingstown…all of the signs might not be up, per se, but when you see road work is being carried out it’s for you to approach with caution,” he noted.
Spt Browne pointed out that awareness and reduced speeds are necessary to prevent accidents and ensure the safety of both road users and commuters.
