SVG receives US$3m social relief grant from Taiwan
The Government of St Vincent and the Grenadines received a US$3 million social relief grant from Taiwan on Tuesday, January 3, 2026.

The funds were presented to Prime Minister, Dr. Godwin Friday by Ambassador Fiona Huei-Chun Fan, on behalf of people and the Government of the Republic of China (Taiwan.
The Embassy of Taiwan said this significant contribution is dedicated to supporting the Government of St Vincent and the Grenadines’ Social Relief Project, standing as a testament to the enduring friendship and steadfast partnership.
“The handover reflects Taiwan’s recognition of the vital importance of social equity and societal stability, aligning with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
