Tire shine thief jailed for eight months

A MAN FROMWALVAROO with over 20 convictions, was sentenced to prison for eight months after stealing two tins of tire shine from Coreas.

Peter Da Souza appeared at the Kingstown Magistrate’s Court before Senior Magistrate Tammika Mckenzie, on January 27, 2026 where he pleaded guilty that on January 26, 2026 at Kingstown he stole two tins of HS Ultra Gloss tire shine valued EC$69.99, the property of Coreas Auto Supplies Limited.

The facts are that Williams is employed at Coreas Auto Supplies Limited on Bay Street, Kingstown, as an automotive paint technician. On the date in question at about 11:55 a.m, Williams was at a meeting in the manager’s office along with an IT technician.
