Opposition Members sworn in

THE THREE MEMBERS of the Opposition, who took their oaths at the sitting yesterday, January 29, 2026 of the House of Assembly, were welcomed to parliament by Speaker, Ronnia Durham-Balcombe.

Their swearing in took place a little over a month after the twelfth Parliament saw the official swearing- in of the government’s members of the House of Assembly on December 23, 2025.

Opposition Leader Dr. Ralph Gonsalves, and senators Carlos James and Keisal Peters took the oaths of allegiance and declaration as Members of Parliament.
