Opposition leader prepared to don his legal gown again

OPPOSITION LEADER Dr. Ralph Gonsalves, has made known that he still has a license to practice law, and he does not have a problem going to court to defend the rights of any citizen if the need arises.

He made this declaration in the wake of reported cases he outlined where materials legitimately granted to persons were being taken away from them.

It also follows his disclosure that the Unity Labour Party (ULP) is moving to establish ‘People’s Defence Committees’ or PDCs in several areas to among other things, monitor reported cases of victimization.
