Special Needs’ man spreads Christmas Cheer despite abuse

A GREEN HILL MAN with a disability, who is often seen on the streets of Kingstown with a speaker box and a mic, singing worship songs and Christmas Carols, has no intention to stop sharing the message of Jesus Christ despite suffering physical and sexual abuse.
On December 17, 2025 Kevin Joseph was standing in the vicinity of Independence Park [Victoria Park] singing along to Mariah Carey’s ‘All I want for Christmas is you.’
Joseph, who told SEARCHLIGHT that he was born on August 17, 1993, said he is a former student of the School for Children with Special Needs, Kingstown, and is now spending his time worshipping and serving God.
“When I come here, I does make sure I pray and the first thing I do when I get up, I ask God for forgiveness and ask him to forgive me of my sins.”
Despite spreading Christmas cheer to the public, Joseph said his personal life is far from easy.
