Windward man await sentencing for house-breaking

A COLONAIRE MAN will be spending the rest of the Christmas season behind bars after he was remanded for breaking into the home of a Peruvian Vale resident.

Shaffique Williams appeared at the Kingstown Magistrate’s Court before Senior Magistrate, Tammika McKenzie yesterday, December 15, 2025 where he pleaded guilty that on December 10, 2025 at Peruvian Vale, he entered the dwelling house of Karen Maguire of Peruvian Vale as a trespasser with intent to commit the offence of theft.

Due to Maguire’s absence at court Williams was remanded, and the facts and sentencing were adjourned to January 5, 2025.
