Teenage thief activates $900 bond, sent to prison
A TEENAGER, who used another person’s vehicle without permission and was bonded in the sum of $900, is now imprisoned for four months for stealing from Massy Stores, after he was unable to pay the bond amount immediately.
Tristan Findlay, 18, appeared at the Kingstown Magistrate’s Court before Senior Magistrate Tammika Mckenzie, on November 20, 2025 where he was sentenced for stealing two pounds of brown sugar valued EC$4.10 and one Massy Stores Macaroni pie valued EC$8.00, total value EC$12.10, on October 10, 2025, the property of Massy Stores Ltd, Upper Bay Street Kingstown.
Findlay also pleaded guilty that on October 15, 2025 at Upper Bay Street, Kingstown, he stole two Spam classic valued EC$47.90; one Tulip chopped pork value- EC$29.00; two Orchard juices value- EC$20.70; two Nissin Top Chicken Ramen, value- EC$4.90; three Supligen value- EC$16.05; and one frozen local chicken valued at EC$33.75- a total value EC$152.30, the property of Massy Stores Ltd, Upper Bay Street, Kingstown.
