Park Hill man charged with attempting to chop man to death
A PARK HILL MAN has been charged with attempted murder after he allegedly inflicted six chop wounds to another man’s body.
Ezra Sterling, 24, appeared at the Kingstown Magistrate’s Court before Senior Magistrate Tammika McKenzie on November 26,2025 where he was charged that on November 23, 2025 at Park Hill, he did an act which is more than merely preparatory to the commission of the offence, to Zela Quashie, a 41-year-old labourer also of Park Hill by chopping him about his body with a cutlass.
The charge is laid indictable, therefore Sterling was not required to enter a plea. Prosecutor, Alison Stapleton objected to Sterling’s bail and informed the court that Quashie is still warded at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital.
