JP Eustace started the IHS at age 21, while at the same time teaching at the then Boys Grammar School, and a few years later he started another secondary school in Kingstown, the J.P Eustace Secondary School. A few years later, he started a third secondary school- the J.P Eustace Secondary School, Mesopotamia.
