Teen on wounding charge
A 19-year-old labourer, charged with wounding, pleaded not guilty when he appeared at the Kingstown Magistrate’s Court on November 18, 2025. Donte Enville, a resident of Cane Hall, was granted bail in the sum of EC$2,300 with one surety.
He was arrested on November 17, 2025, and charged with the offence of wounding, the police stated in a release.
Enville is alleged to have unlawfully and maliciously wounded a 38-year-old labourer also of Cane Hall by stabbing him about his face with a knife.
The offence is said to have been committed in Cane Hall on October 28, 2025. Conditions of Enville’s bail include an order not to have any contact with the complainant, and to report to the Central Police
Station every Monday and Thursday between 6:00 a.m and 6:00 p.m.
He is also to seek the court’s permission before leaving the state. The matter was adjourned to September 8, 2026.
