Visitor on drug charges fined and ordered removed
A CARRIACOU MAN, who came to St Vincent reportedly to see his girlfriend, was ordered to pay $2,500 immediately after he pleaded guilty to illegal drug possession and drug trafficking.
Jaevoni Robertson appeared at the Serious Offences Court before Chief Magistrate, Colin John, on November 11, 2025 where he was charged that on October 22, 2025 at Kingstown, he had in his possession 30,760 grammes of cannabis, a controlled drug, with the intent to supply to another; and for the purpose of drug trafficking.
The facts are that on the date in question at about 9:50 a.m PC 1018 Stapleton was on duty at the gate of B.M.C, behind Massy Stores supermarket along with a party of police officers conducting searches on persons going to the Southern Grenadines via the Bequia Express 5.
