Vaccine mandate case headed to Privy Council
THE PRIVY COUNCIL, located at 2 Carlton Gardens, London, England, has been asked to look at the St Vincent and the Grenadines vaccine mandate case, which has been winding its way through the regional court system for some years.
The Eastern Caribbean Court of Appeal yesterday,Thursday November 13, 2025 granted the applicants leave to take the matter to the Privy Council.
In 2021, frontline public workers which included teachers, healthcare workers and police officers were required by the Public Health (Public Bodies Special Measures) Rules, 2021 (Special Measures) to be vaccinated or be deemed absent from their jobs without leave.
