Duo charged with multiple offenses
Two young men who have been charged for allegedly attacks against a police officer and use of indecent language pled not guilty when they appeared separately in court on Tuesday, November 4, 2025.
The police in a release said they arrested 25-year-old Ozarry Joseph a mechanic of La Croix on November 3, 2025 and charged him and Brani Alexander, 25, a mechanic of Evesham, with wounding and damage to property.
The police said their investigations reveal that the accused unlawfully and maliciously wounded a 28-year- old Police Officer of Calliaqua by boxing her about her body, choking and pushing her to the ground. The men were further charged with damaging one black Samsung Galaxy S21 plus cellular phone valued at EC $1,200 belonging to the police officer by smashing it on the ground.
