New Invest SVG site available to host events
Persons who want access to a top-class venue for the staging of their events now have access, at a price, to Invest SVG’s newly developed facility on the Diamond Industrial Estate.
Chairman of Invest SVG, Anthony Regisford has described the new site as “the beginning of something good”, and noted that the staff of Invest SVG is working to engage other stakeholders to come up with a master plan for the site.
Speaking at the opening of the four-day Everything Vincy Expo Plus on October 24, 2025, Regisford said the 3.6 acres of land is a work in progress, but the vision is that it will be an exhibition center, and more.
“So there are community things, community events that can happen here already. As soon as the tent started to go up, as soon as we finished putting up the main building, we had churches, we had other groups approaching wondering, how can they access the site,” Regisford said.
He said the site is going to be an activity centre.
In relation to the Everything Vincy Expo which ended on October 28, Regisford said the new site is now the home of the Expo which this year featured a wide range of local and regional exhibitors, showcasing products, craft, culture, and highlighting the nation’s entrepreneurial spirit.
Among those at the opening ceremony were Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves; Minister of Finance, Economic Planning and Information Technology Camillo Gonsalves; Ambassador of the Republic of China (Taiwan) to St Vincent and the Grenadines, Fiona Fan; and CEO of Invest SVG Glen Beache.
