NDP’s Shevern John outlines plans for North Windward

New Democratic Party(NDP) candidate, Shevern John, has outlined numerous plans for the constituency of North Windward which she is contesting in the upcoming elections.

In the November 27, 2025 general elections, John will be making a second bid to represent the constituency, and will come up against first-timer, Dr Grace Walters of the Unity Labour Party (ULP).

The former teacher outlined her plans for the constituency on Saturday, October 25, 2025 at a mass political rally of the NDP held at the London Playing Field in Sandy Bay.

“I am ready to deliver. I am ready to build the future for you,”John declared. Among the plans outlined is the establishment of a playing field at Langley Park, an upgrade of existing playing fields, and construction of a multi-complex sporting facility in the constituency.

The placement of ATM services north of the Rabacca Dry River is also on the cards for John.
