Under Dr Gonsalves SVG has grown regional counterparts say

Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves has received passing grades from two of his regional colleagues, Prime Minister of St Lucia Philip J. Pierre, and Prime Minister of Dominica, Rosevelt Skerritt, both of whom have commending Dr. Gonsalves for providing visionary leadership.

Speaking at a function during a joint visit to St Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) on October 22, 2025, the Prime Ministers spoke about transformation brought about by several projects, as well as initiatives in education and housing.

PM Pierre said his time spent in this country made him realise how much progress has taken place under Dr. Gonsalves’ administration. He said he first worked in SVG years ago as a consultant for the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB), and you could barely drive around the country, but today, you can see the changes everywhere.

“That is the measure of the man,” Prime Minister Pierre stated, while describing Dr. Gonsalves as a leader of great political instinct and deep understanding of people.
