Hair Salons pamper Senior Citizens

A TEAM OF BEAUTICIANS came together on Monday, October 20, 2025 to host their annual Senior Citizens’ Day at the Methodist Church Hall, Kingstown. Persons 70 years and over were treated to a variety of services from around 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The services provided ranged from having pedicures, manicures, relaxers, natural hair plaiting, haircuts, treatments, and hair colouring done by licensed cosmetologists Suzanne Goodluck, and Bethel Samuel; and professional aestheticians, Kelly-ann Dacon and Joanne Barnum.

The elderly were also treated to an array of snacks and a light meal and spent the day in the quiet, cool environment and engaging in social interactions with each other.

The organisers have been putting on the annual Senior Citizens Day for over 25 years.
