‘I can’t sleep when people can’t find food to eat’ Cummings

Member of Parliament for Central Kingstown Daniel Cummings, has complained that he gets “ a pittance” as an elected representative.

Cummings made the claim on Tuesday night, while speaking at a meeting of the New Democratic Party (NDP) in Fairbaine Pasture.

“The pittance that I get as an elected Member of Parliament, cannot begin to pay for an office, for staff, for utilities much more to assist hundreds of people every month, with very basic needs,”Cummings said.

The West Kingstown MP recalls having sleepless nights over the plight of some of his constituents.
