More than 1000 families have received appliances says PM
The government’s allocation of $1.5 million in the 2025 budget to provide essential household appliances, including refrigerators, stoves, and washing machines to the public is bearing fruit.
This was the conclusion of Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves last Saturday, October 11, 2025 in Union Island as he spoke during the official opening of the ferry terminal and market in Clifton.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Gonsalves said more than 1000 families had already received assistance through this initiative by the government aimed at providing the much-needed appliances.
