SVG School of Continuing Education receives third accreditation
The St Vincent and the Grenadines School of Continuing Education(SVGSCE) has received its third consecutive registration from the National Accreditation Board(NAB).
The registration was conferred following a comprehensive evaluation process that included a review of the school’s instructional programmes, faculty qualifications, administrative leadership, student services, and operational effectiveness.
A release issued by the school states that the visiting committee commended SVG School of Continuing Education for its dedication to academic rigour, structured improvement planning, and strong partnerships with parents and the wider community.
“Registration serves as an external validation of quality, ensuring that schools meet clearly defined benchmarks and remain accountable for delivering effective learning outcomes.”
The release noted that the three-year status underscores the SVGSCE’s ability to sustain high standards while continuing to refine its practices through ongoing self-assessment and improvement initiatives.
“Registration signifies that the National Accreditation Board has evaluated and concluded that the SVGSCE has a comprehensive and standards-based curriculum; faculty and staff who demonstrate professionalism and dedication to student growth; a safe, inclusive, and supportive school climate; evidence of data-driven decision-making to enhance instruction and student performance.”
Chief Executive Officer of the SVG School of Continuing Education, Nzinga Sergeant, told SEARCHLIGHT that seeking accreditation is a rigorous process in which NAB assesses an institution and grants their approval.
