Darron John ensuring he reaches the people
DARRON RODAN JOHN, the Unity Labour Party’s (ULP) candidate for South Windward, said he is continuing to reach out to the people in that constituency since his selection on July, 19,2025 to carry the party’s flag in the upcoming general elections.
I “continued my house to house… I started that during the primary, and I’ve continued to do it in the different areas down in Stubbs, down in Diamond, down in Argyle, Calder”, John told SEARCHLIGHT who caught up with him at his September, 25, 2025 ‘Red Lime’ at Diamond organised to ensure he “reaches the people”.
He added that “if somebody wants to see me on a Sunday afternoon, I would make myself available because, you know, everybody’s busy … and…it’s difficult sometimes to get to everybody while I would do my own canvassing. Those are some of the things I do to accommodate persons”.
John said he has been out in the field group canvassing, following weeks of focus on combing and coding, a very important part of campaigning.
Following his selection from a four way race of interested party contenders, John revealed that the support from the three other challengers, “has been good thus far”.
