Guava in the fight against Liver Cancer
Increasingly, international scientific research is providing information how the natural properties of fruits can be used in developing effective tools to combat some forms of cancer.
A study conducted by scientists at the University of Delaware in the USA, has discovered new techniques in the fight against liver cancer utilizing the humble guava fruit. There, ongoing research over the years have produced efforts to harvest the naturally-occurring molecules in guava to aid in the battle to fight liver cancer. According to the scientists this makes it easy for chemists to follow manuscripts and follow “recipes” so that they can make the remedy themselves.
This will result in low-cost and easy-to-use recipes, opening the door to mass production of the molecules responsible for guava’s reputation as an anti-cancer food. The overall effect will be more affordability and availability in the war against cancer.
