The 2025 Miss St Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) Teen Pageant is scheduled for August, 2, at the La Vue Hotel and Beach Club in Villa and will see six young ladies competing for the title that was won last year by Schuyler Francois.
Pageant Coordinator, Angenella Young told SEARCHLIGHT that the pageant allows young ladies to boost their confidence while showcasing talent.
Competing in the pageant this year are, Miss Belmont, Kerrisa Samuel; Miss Villa, Chloe Bruce; Miss Evesham, Britoni Jackson; Miss Biabou, Kevisha Richardson; Miss Canouan, Akeley Samuel; and Miss McKies Hill, Lydia Sutherland.
Kerrisa Samuel, 16, attends the St. Joseph Convent, Kingstown (SJCK). Bruce, 17, goes to the West St George Secondary School. Jackson, 15, attends the St Joseph Convent, Marriaqua. Richardson,19, is a student at the SVG Community College. Akeley Samuel,16, attends the Georgetown Secondary School; and Sutherland,14, is a SJCK student.
The winner is expected to represent St Vincent and the Grenadines at the Haynes Smith Miss Caribbean Talented Teen Pageant.
“As one of the agencies that supports creative and talented young ladies, we want to nurture these girls as we realise they are the future and we want the support of the public in doing this,” Young said, while encouraging persons to turn out to support the pageant which is about pushing and encouraging the young ladies and not about what they can gain financially.
