NDP’s MP promises a better quality of life in South Leeward

A candidate for the opposition New Democratic Party is promising to restore hope and confidence in the people of St Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) after the next general election.

“We will restore hope, and we will restore your confidence and your spirit,” Member of Parliament for South Leeward, Nigel ‘Nature’ Stephenson promised at a political meeting in Campden Park last Friday, June 6, 2025.

Stephenson, a vice president of the opposition New Democratic Party (NDP) will be seeking to retain the seat for a fourth straight term in the upcoming general election.

“I have been in the wilderness for 15 years,” Stephenson pointed out.

“My gift to you would be to serve you, to make sure that there is a better quality of life for every household in South Leeward.”

He claimed that right now, too many people are broken in spirit, and are walking around without hope.
