‘Pirate Cave’ – a one of a kind recreational facility – Proprietor

Businessman Adolphus “Famo” Adams has contributed to this country’s tourism product with a recreational facility he calls “Pirate Cave”.

Pirate Cave is located at Lowmans Bay and according to Adams, it is the only facility of its kind in St Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG).

The facility is home to a 48-foot long, 36-foot wide salt water pool which is three feet at its deepest point. Patrons may walk in one end, swim in the other, or simply enjoy the view from above, as there is a bridge over the body of water.

The facility also has six rooms available for rent and will soon have a restaurant.

“If you want to have a party, if you want to stay overnight, whatever, you can come to Pirate Cave,” said Adams who hopes to have the facility operating at 100 per cent functionality by next year.

“For now, you can book the venue for parties, weddings, anything you want…it is the only facility in the area, and throughout the country because of the things that we offer here,” said Adams.
He noted also that the beach is a short distance from the facility and security in the area is top class.

“We cater for everybody here, local and foreigners,” said Adams, while inviting the public to the “Infinity” pool party this Sunday at the venue.

He said that those coming to the event will be able to experience the beauty of the venue and see what it is capable of.

“Pirate Cave is about improving the tourism product,” said Adams.
