Vinsave, Byesave benefit from Skills Training and Development project
Vinsave and its subsidiary Byesave Organisation are the recipients of funds from the Australian High Commission in Trinidad and Tobago, Direct Aid Programme (DAP) to execute a Skills Training and Development Project for women in Byera and other communities.
Twenty women are participating in this three-month project at the Byesave Community Centre which will focus on the women learning to make different types of wines, the curing of chicken for hams, fruit preservation and many other skills.
The objective of the project is to equip the women with skills for sustainability. The women will also be a part of a Women’s Group which will enter into production and sale of some of the goods they produce.
The facilitator of the group is certified trainer Licha Goddard, of Mesopotamia. Graduation and Exhibition of work will be held in June 2019 at the Byesave Community Centre.
